Certainty Turf Herbicide

Certainty herbicide is specially formulated for selective weed control in highly managed warm-season turf, native grass plantings and ornamentals. It is recommended for use in residential and commercial turf sites, including lawns, athletic fields, cemeteries, parks, sod farms, fairways, roughs and tees. Other uses include recommendations for post-directed and over-the-top applications in labeled ornamental landscapes and nurseries.

Certainty has unique postemergent activity that can give turf and ornamental growers the flexibility to safely control problem weeds, like nutsedge, quackgrass and Johnsongrass that often infest newly seeded or sprigged warm-season turf, native grasses and established ornamentals.

 

• In addition to purple and yellow nutsedge, Certainty also controls Kyllinga species, annual sedges and a number of other undesirable grasses and broadleaf weeds
• Certainty has broad-scale safety in warm-season turf and can be used on essentially all warm-season turfgrasses, including:
  • Bermudagrass
  • Bahiagrass
  • Buffalograss
  • Centipedegrass
  • Kikuyugrass
  • St. Augustinegrass
  • Seashore paspalum
  • Zoysiagrass
• Control of undesirable grasses, such as tall fescue, perennial ryegrass, Poa annua and Poa trivialis, that infest warm-season turf can be achieved with Certainty
